If it had a high-neck - it would be mine because I love everything about it. Pretty and elegant. I LOVE a good mesh midi for warm weather, and would wear this with my blush flats and bag......but V-necks are one of my worst necklines

It's a cool print, but it's also a lot of black. Are you sure you'd want that much black, especially for warm weather?

I was looking at this dress too and I prefer a V-neck. However, the photo makes it look like a "deep V" so I moved on. It is a beautiful dress! I love the colors and the "fluttery" look.

Oh, it's so pretty. I'll take a V-neck over a crew any day, but sorry it's not right for you! It does look like quite a deep V. Too bad it's not a wrap style -- sometimes those can be adjusted to the proper depth and then sewn shut (so you can still pull the dress on over your head).

Oh boy, that's a low V too. I like high V-necks but that probably wouldn't work for me either without a cami to fill it in and that would probably ruin the look.

It IS a deep V - but quite a shallow one. And mesh doesn't really gape. It sticks to your body, IYKWIM. Try the dress!

La Ped, the black in the dress is fine because of all the flowers in my colours: citron, blush and white. AND mesh is delicate, see-through and not very black - does that make sense? This was my most worn dress last year, for example:

Ok but you wear a cami every day, right? Why not a fitted on with a higher neckline maybe edged? So you visually raise the neckline in a harmonious way?

Taylor, I know right. I look like E.T. in a V-neck, and not in cute way. Not the best neckline for our body type.

Suntiger, to my eye, a scarf would ruin the lines of the dress. But I DO use the scarf and pearl necklace stying strategy to fill much smaller gaps, so thanks for the problem solving and creative thinking

Gryffin, YES. I wear a cami every day - unless I'm in thermals. Maybe a very high necked lace cami. I love lace. Worth a try.

That neckline would be a deal breaker for me too. It does not say what the lining is but may be the part that requires dry cleaning. It would go so well with your citron too. If the fabric is stretchy enough, could a tailor alter the neckline so thT you could still pull in on?

Interesting thoughts here. I love the dress and the neckline - for me it would be a winter evening dress - dinners out etc.. the low vee might mean it is not work appropriate for me though.

I admire how beautifully you wear dresses, Angie! And floral ones especially. I like the colours and the pattern of this one, but understand why the neckline is a deal breaker. Anyway, thank you for posting this - very interesting and educational.
Floral dresses are very long from my own way of dressing, so please, wear them for me
Although, who knows.... After about 14 months on YLF, I am buying white footwear, go figure

Try a mock or turtleneck cami. I have several and use them for just this purpose: To fill in V-necks. Worth a shot. It's a lovely dress.
