I love your new look ! and... it's hard giving up our beloved, high quality pieces. But when you love how you look (you, in a moto jacket is the bomb), then you feel it, and you exude the confidence. And as you know from the working world, investing in the key pieces that make you look fantastic, is strategic... and, I hope not too much $$ in the long run, if the selected pieces are bought intended to last 5+ years. I'm leaving you this black leather moto Find as inspiration. Hugs!

Thank you for posting a thread like this. I appreciate the courage it takes to ask for comments on an outfit.

Like the others, #3 is my favorite. I think it looks good on you.

In terms of the other versions, it may be a case of too many statement pieces in one outfit. First is your hair. Great hair! No matter what outfit you wear, your hair is going to make a statement. Which means you can pull off an all black or a very minimal outfit and it would still be interesting due to your hair style. The second statement item is the shoes. Then you've got the scarf, and the pearls. I don't think there's a rule on the correct ratio of statement pieces to support acts, I should go look for what Angie says about this. (I think she blogged about it last year.) Also longer ago here.)

I'm a bit torn on the jacket. I really like the shoulder line, and the view from the side in #3 is nice. But from the front I think either a shorter or longer jacket would look best with these types of pants.
