I have sitting in my desk, ready to be returned tonight. But then Angie's post about Beatle boots is making me pause. But that would involve buying more. I'm trying to buy less. I am trying to be very realistic about what I have time to wear, and it's really hard.

I hate it when I am conflicted about a return. You love it but the practical side knows that it likely won't get the love it deserves.
It is beautiful and I have no doubt you can rock it. But there will be many other beautiful items out there later on. I feel if you have a shred of doubt, and given your current objective of realism and buying less, simply return it and get it out of your system.

Life's too short to keep clothes that cause you angst! You have no shortage of fab things to wear--no need to buy more stuff to wear your already cool stuff!

I am no help at all. I just saw these when Deb posted about TJ Maxx having an on line store. The low heel, Beatle bootie style and calf hair aspect made me think of you.

I think you would get way more use out of some Beatle booties than the leather skirt.

OTOH the skirt is unique and would add something different to your look. Or maybe not. Don't have some flouncy skater type skirts?

Yeah, Denise I saw your post, VERY tempting.
I do have a black flouncy skater skirt from Elizabeth and James, it even has a tulle underlayer for more poufiness.
