Why can't I find plain, nice flannel pajamas?

Does anyone know where plain flannel pajamas can be found that are cozy, substantial, cotton? I'm looking for something restful -- no doofy prints (hello, Victoria's Secret) or screaming color combinations (hello again, Victoria's Secret).

These are prints, but they are restful prints, especially the "winter berries" one (though I notice they feature cropped pants, but maybe Angie is more lenient re. PPL for pajamas?

I have the PJs Maya posted to, and can heartily endorse them; they are actually my favorite flannel pajamas. Mine were a gift from my SO's mom, in the pink leopard. I had no idea they came in other patterns: now I want the owls, sheep and elephants!

I'm with Maya. I happen to like polka dots or whimsical animals frolicking on my flannel pjs. Also on my slippers!

Every year I buy a pair of PJ Salvage pajamas from Nordstrom. They are flannel and are the coziest ever. However, they do come in cute prints (I've had zebra stripes, Scottie dogs, and polka dots) - I guess my bedwear is rather on the "doofy" side! I get chilly at night and sometimes wear flannel PJs all year round.
They almost always go on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (which is when I pick them up) so you may want to scope the other Nordstrom sale events as well.
I've also seen flannel pajama sets at Target.

I'll do a testimony for the Target flannels. A couple of years ago I received a pair of Nick & Nora pj from my sister for Christmas. I loved them so much that I went online and ordered 5 more pair. The tops even have pockets. They are doofy prints however.

I have been hunting endlessly for jammies in non-pastel colors, non-doofy prints for eons now. I currently have 2 PLAIN sets I got from target about 4 years ago and they are pretty threadbare. One set is in gray and the other in colbalt blue (fav color!) and I am hesitant to toss them since I cannot find suitable replacements. I am sort of happy to hear that others are having the same frustration!

When I think of plain-ish pajamas, Brooks Brothers came to mind. Here's their page on women's sleepwear: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/.....ion_Id=376

They are stripes and plaids, but subtle ones, and at least no bunnies, etc.!

Great advice here.
I have had a few nice PJ's from Nordstrom's that were ankle lenght, then after a month or so of washing and drying they were cropped. It upset me because they are not cheap. I will look for some of these tried and true brands.

The Vermont Country Store has 100% cotton flannel pajamas in nice tartans, and a white Eileen West flannel nightgown that is pretty, warm, roomy, and indestructible--and it has pockets!
