Who's Wearing the Green?

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Even though I am not Irish, I sent the kiddos off in green clothing....don't even know if they do the "pinching" if you don't wear green but didn't want them to suffer if they didn't have to!

Honestly, I don't own any green clothing item, but I am wearing my husband's Celtics t-shirt and yoga pants as I am off to exercise.

How about you? Do you wear green in honor of this day?

Edited to Add: I bet Angie and RunCarla will be wearing their awesome green specs today, no?

I've got on a navy and green printed silk shirt. It is kind of an orphaned top so the holiday was a good excuse to try it out and see why it isnt getting much wear.

My daughters insisted that I at least put on a green scarf today! Both went to school in green shirts and green hair accessories!

It's an Irish friend's birthday so we do always head to the pub, and since I wear plenty of green anyway I do try to pick something out for the occasion. Today it's a bit overboard with emerald green bicycle print GAP bf shirt & sweater, and olive pants tucked into brown boots... top half doesn't really go with bottom, but I needed some skinnies due to ongoing winter weather and figured olive was thematic at least

I'm wearing all black even though we have an Irish step dance performance tonight. (I'm not performing this time - just watching others from my dance school.) I have one green tshirt that I save for St Pat's but I put it on this morning and decided it was unflattering and not my style. Maybe I'll find a green scarf for next year. Meanwhile I figure my red hair does the trick.

Our dance costumes aren't green, either.

I was set to wear my one green shirt today but forgot. But...I painted my nails mint green last night, so I consider that my green. I have quite a bit of Irish in me! :^)

Aaaaabsolutely. Half my dad's family is of Irish descent. Gotta wear the green! And for me, it can't be any green -- it's got to be bright emerald/kelly green/whatever you call it. You know what I mean. Not mint or olive or apple green!

It's my day off so I'm comfortably casual in black skinny jeans and a deep purple cashmere v-neck sweater. In honor of the Irish, I'm wearing a lime green necklace, which looks surprisingly good with the purple! The corned beef is almost ready, the potatoes and cabbage are cooking. None of our family are Irish, but we enjoy claiming parts of this holiday.

I wore green today without even consciously planning it! I'm on a business trip and went for the green shirt under gray blazer. It wasn't until about 3pm that I realized I was sporting green for St Patricks Day without event realizing it!

We were snowed in, but I wore a green sweater. I only have a few green items in my wardrobe. My work outfit will be brought out tomorrow. I do have a glass of Guinness and made some Irish Soda Bread. The kids will have a belated celebration at school tomorrow. Technically I should be wearing orange...

Any excuse for fun inspiration and a party! Yup, I wore my new specs, and a black, olive, and teal velvet burnout top with black pencil and pointy toe heels.
With red hair I get a lot of queries. I get red from my American Mom's side (I'm a dead ringer for her paternal grandfather from the nose up) and my Dad (a German with a Barbarossa). My sons (a blonde and a chestnut) also have red beards!

Now, Thursday is supposed to be the first day of spring. I'm thinking florals...if I can scrounge any up!

BTW, this is what it looks like here, with 10-15 more centimetres this week.

I was home doing yard cleanup most of the day, but when I went out for a walk with the dogs, I put on a sage green cotton pullover sweater. No one could see it, however, because I had my jacket zipped up as high as it would go due to the biting wind, I have lots of green but most of it is olive or apple green.

Yes green here too. Cleaning house olive pants, white t and green pullover. Dinner tonight black pants and cardi, kelly green ls t and claddagh necklace.
Dinner...corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots, Guinness, Jameson's and some Bailey's Irish chocolate I've been hoarding from Ireland...
Shamrock tablecloth, celtic cross centrepiece, etc.
