I found some clearance Paul Green gray boots in a 10 1/2, which is like finding a needle in a haystack size in store. They fit, and I brought them home. They were 70% off, but I believe they would still be the most expensive shoe in my closet. I have a pair of Franco Sarto black boots already that have a slightly lower heel, but they aren't quite as fitted through the calf, so I think the PG has a nicer profile. This can be good though, because they fit leggings and jeggings fine. Also, I like black bottoms, so usually prefer black to gray shoes.

If I didn't already own the FS that would be one thing, but common sense tells me they're too similar to keep the PG.

I'm going to return, but now I know Pail Green may need to be a brand I stalk going forward. I'd never tried them on before.
