Who likes yellow? Up for swap

I have a beautiful yellow silk dress from BR that I am putting up for swap. I will take a pic when I get a chance, but if you are familiar with BR you will remember this dress from last Spring, since it was heavily promoted.

It's a size 4p. I always need to go up to a 4 in their dresses. It does fit me, but the color is just not for me. It's become an orphan because every time I put it on to wear it, I just feel that the color is all wrong and I end up changing.

I am an hourglass, but I think a pretty pear can easily get away with it too, as the skirt is quite full, flaring out from the waist. My own measurements are 33B/C-27/28ish-33 and I'm 5'0." It is a tad tight on me in the waist, but fits perfectly in the bust area.

This would be perfect to wear for Easter!

As for what I'd swap... well, I'm open. If someone taller than me wants to swap this for a petite friend, accessories are always good (purses, scarves, jewelry). Needn't be clothes. Actually, I would just really love to see this dress go to a good home. I feel guilty for not saving the darn tags and receipt. I should've returned it long ago.

It has not been worn out of the house yet, so it is clean. But it is a bit wrinkled from being in storage.

As for swap items in return--you absolutely must wear petite sizes right? No regular?

Hi Maya - I bet this yellow would be gorgeous on you! I forget where the hem hits me (I did try it on again recently, I just didn't pay attention). How about I measure it for you and get back to you? (Will have to be later as DH and I have the day off and we're going on a roadtrip soon). Yes, the neckline is scooped.

Swap items: I am open to accessory swaps so it does not need to be clothing. (Scarves, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, purses, hats, belts, even sunglasses). I may even be open to shoe swaps too... I forget your shoe size, but I'm a 6-6.5.

I do wear some regular sizes but it can be tricky. If you have something particular in mind, and you can measure laying the garment flat, I can figure out whether it will work or not.

We can also postpone the swap part until you get the dress and decide you want to keep it! I'm flexible. I just can't bear to give this one away to goodwill, and I don't have enough other stuff to do a consignment at the moment.

Sure, that's fine. I am also a 6-6.5 so I'll rummage through my shoes and see what I have. I think it will most likely be a shoe swap because I have plenty of them to get rid of but not that many accessories. Actually, I do have some scarves too. I'll have to take pictures later.

I was thinking of this lovely sweater Laura gave to me earlier this year. It's a rosey pink and laces up the front. I can't explain it but it's very pretty and would have been my only cashmere item if it fit! I'm thinking now that it probably won't be the best thing for you because it is a regular size and you obviously take petites at BR.
