Hi all,

I am hoping to get two new pairs of footwear this winter (I am in NZ so it is late summer here now). Shoes and boots are expensive here but I tend to get really good wear as I look after them, buy styles that I don't tire of quickly and buy decent quality.

1) Dressy flat/low heel boots that are walkable - similar to the silhouette of the last three finds. What colour should I go for - black, caramel or cream or metallic? I want to wear them for dressy work and nights out where I walk (theatre, dinner etc)

2) New sneakers or flats - something to complement my current collection.

I feel as though one pair should be white/off white and one pair black or camel or caramel?

For about 15 years I have always had a pair of white sneakers - from canvas converse to leather. They have all worn out and been replaced.... at one stage I had two pairs.

My current pair have worn out and I am evaluating whether to get another pair or not. I feel as though they are an essential for me, but possibly less than they were two years ago.

Casual (as opposed to exercise) sneakers for me are mostly worn in autumn, winter and spring. I also wear them to work as I mostly need to wear covered shoes.

I have had to get rid of a few shoes over the last six months - some due to comfort, and a few have worn out entirely.

The first nine finds are my autumn/winter options. The black and white platform sneakers and navy boots are both fairly well worn now. In addition I have five "gear" options of which three occasionally get worn for more casual days (identical black and white Brooks Ghost Max, and some multicoloured Scarpa)

But back to the original question-

Are you still wearing white sneakers and if so what style? Retro, converse, platform, or other?

And ideas are welcome about what new additions I should make!!
