I have those shoes! And paid a lot more for them too. Argh! I love them. They are amazingly comfortable for a thin-soled shoe. I had thought there would be squashing of my toes but they don't do that. I ended up buying them in black too, but JFTR I much prefer the white, because the black are patent leather and to me it looks like plastic. The white plain leather ones are one of my favourite shoe purchases this spring.
In case anyone is interested in sizing, I am a European 38 (occasionally 39), British 5.5 (Dr Martens 5, Primark 6) US size 7.5-8 with very wide feet, and I got the 8s, and they are great. I think the 7.5s might have been ok too, but given the pointy toes I opted for the 8 and chose to get the same size when I ordered the other colour.
I would wear them any time of year provided it is dry, as someone else said. I might wear the black ones even if it might rain, but the white ones are too beautiful to ruin in muddy puddles.
