White jeans, take . . . VI?

I know, I know, it never ends. I'm sorry. These are the Paige Peg Ankle (not on me!) skinny (not on me!). http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/pa.....tic_white):694602&cm_pla=bottoms:women:pant&cm_ven=Google_Product_Ads&mr:referralID=aed5f563-69ac-11e3-9104-001b2166c62d Do I go for a true skinny or go with these worn as straight leg?

Oh, and I'm throwing in a pic of the H&M foil top. Stiff doesn't even begin to describe it lol. I'll give it a chance with an ironing from the inside, but I don't have high hopes. I do like the semi sheer linen part of it.

Yeah, the top doesn't look so hot (front view). But the jeans... you look great! Are you wanting a skinny instead of a straight leg? Otherwise, I'd say keep, both thumbs up.

I like the fit at the top but not the bottom, and the length is neither here nor there to me.

Liz, I wondered about that. It hits the tops of my shoes, but no scrunch. And yet, it's not cropped either.
Alasse, I think I prefer skinny, but am not opposed to a straight if it works.
My last ditch effort after these would be the AG Primas.

I prefer straight leg vs skinny for any jean style to be worn in hot months. I like a looser fit on the calf when I am sweaty. So I vote yay to a straight leg pair vs a skinny pair for a white jean. I don't see much scrunch here, but often in summer months I see lots of cropped bottoms, so these are long compared to what will be most of the choices in stores come springtime, I vote keep.

I am now wearing the Big Star skinnies again to compare. I guess it's good that I'm avoiding the post office until holidays are over - I still have the other jeans on hand lol.
I feel like it's going to come down to the Paige's or the Big Star.

I like the fit of these best, although the length is challenging. Perhaps you could have the calves taken in a bit and they would look more like ankle pants with some scrunch. Or you could roll them like boyfriends?

I do love the fit of these jeans. They look great on you. I personally think the length is fine. They should work fine with flats and I'm not sure you need scrunch. I say keep.

Yes, the width of the leg along with the length is giving me pause Carter.
Carambola, I'm in the process of comparing right now I think I really do want the skinny bottom. Funny thing is, the Big Star are too long (of course). Ha. But a $10 hem job is no biggie.
After wearing both, the Big Star are more comfortable. The back rise of the Paige tends to feel like I need a belt or they'd slide. Looks like back they go.
For now Big Star are in the lead, for those keeping score with me

Hm, I think they either need to be longer or skinnier. This combo of straight leg and just-barely-long-enough has the potential to look frumpy.

Ah, I say return these if the back rise feels like it'll slide. That feeling makes me paranoid that I'm in danger of plumber butt even though they're not that low - drives me batty.

Well not too much to say after that! You prefer the Big Stars. Angie prefers the Big Stars. The forum prefers the Big Stars! And of course, you can run around humming September Gurls every time you wear them, which is a clear winner in my home.
