I have always liked the idea of white jeans in fall and winter - worn with boots and a creamy fisherman knit sweater...you know, that kind of look.  I've never done it, for many reasons...the least of which is the difficulty in keeping white jeans clean for longer than 5 minutes in winter. Anyways, after Angie's Friday ensemble post, I thought I'd give my white jeans a whirl for an evening out with a girlfriend (oysters and white wine - yum) .  I didn't like the look and felt that it was too aggressive somehow, probably given the sweater I was wearing. I ended up changing into some black skinnies and felt much better. This was the first outing for this sweater, and truthfully the whole look felt a little too sedate for my liking, despite it being a skull sweater. Not sure what was missing here - but maybe next time I'll try a different accessory mix. It could also be that the cut of the sweater is a little boring.  I don't know.  Any suggestions for how to showcase this sweater in a different way are welcome!!
