I know lots of you are looking for a great pair of white jeans (as am I), and I don't know if anyone mentioned ATL recently (I haven't kept up with all forum threads, so please forgive me if this is old news.) I just came back from ATL where I tried on 3 different styles of white jeans: bootcut, curvy bootcut, and trouser. I liked them all quite well and recommend you try them if you're shopping for white denim (good price, too: $59). I personally liked the trouser style best, but note that it has flap pockets which I know some of you don't like (I personally think they're cute; my butt happens to be quite round and I decided that I'm better off highlighting it than trying to hide/flatten it, so bring on the flap pockets for me...). The bootcuts have regular back pockets. The sales ladies advised me to buy a size down as all styles will stretch. I bought the trouser style and will probably keep them (but need them hemmed a tad).
Also, they have white denim skirts, and they are awfully cute. I had not considered a white denim skirt at all; I assumed it would make my legs look totally pale. But I tried it and that wasn't true, and I really liked the skirt. It's straight and a bit shorter than I usually wear (not quite knee length) but it worked for me. It has a little slit in the back, but not too much. Overall it's a bit "sassy" but decent enough for work, at least for my casual work place. For others it might make a great weekend skirt. I bought it and am quite excited; it was an unexpected find and I can't wear it with all my summer tops.
Their dark blue denim skirt style, on the other hand, was bad (for me) due to stupid side pockets that were unflattering for my mid section. (It's the same length as the white style, a little less than knee length but certainly not mini).
Now you got the scoop on Ann Taylor Loft's white denim Good luck everyone.
