broke down and ordered the white denim jacket after all,, but passed on the loafers. the jacket is on sale at 6pm

I love my white denim jackets! They definitely come to the rescue in warm weather or when the bottom half is traditional denim and you don't feel like being in head-to-toe denim.

This one looks really nice -- who is it from?

I sure hope it fits too as 6 pm doesn't pay return shipping.

I had a white denim jacket a few years ago-wore it to death. currently I have 2 blue denim, one light and the other dark. I was going to get some other kind of white or neutral jacket, but could not find anything. Keep remembering what Angie said about getting spring toppers early, but I have still been seeing a lot of leather and more wintery ones.

I remembered how many times over the last year or so I have gone into my closet and wished I still had that white denim -so I am sure it will get a lot of wear-mostly with the regular blue denim jeans, but with all the pants, capris, and maybe even with the maxi skirt.

There are not really a lot of white denim around -found none at the mall, and few on line, so when this appeared on the sale e-mail from 6 pm this morning I just had to get it.

I wore mine a ton last year, and I'm not even a white person. With the sleeves rolled up it did not get dirty quickly. The only issue is that it clearly is so functional that I need something similar but not exactly a duplicate and I struggle to figure out what that could be!

A sharp looking classic. I think you will find it extremely versatile. (I wear my white denim jacket all year long.)

My white denim gets more use than the blue denim jacket. Off to look at 6pm. I'm seriously thinking of finding an inexpensive one to cut off the sleeves and use as a white denim vest this summer.

I have two white denim jackets, both from Gap, one in L and another in XL. I wear them year round and they are sort of my signature style pieces. You will find your jacket to be amazingly versatile in dressing up or dressing down given outfits. Mine stay surprisingly clean, too. They are my favorite things. I hope yours gives you as much joy and pleasure as mine give to me.

My white denim jacket, new last year, got worn so much, I stopped posting WIW's with it for fear folks would get blasé with seeing the same thing! Can't wait for the temps to warm up so I can put it back in circulation.
