White denim jacket - cropped or not?

Not really a K/R as I wasn't able to snap pics of myself in the jackets, but I am thinking of adding a white denim jacket to my wardrobe as I wear the HECK out of my cropped denim Kut from the Kloth jean jacket.

Found two contenders last night. Both fit well, the only diff is the regular length vs cropped. Regular length one is more roomy/relaxed. Cropped one is more fitted.

Thoughts on adaptability (wearing with pants vs skirts/dresses), fashionable-ness (is that a word?), other considerations I'm not thinking of, etc?

pic 1: my denim Kut jacket (looks more cropped on me but it's the same color)
pic 2: the Two by Vince Camuto white denim jacket. On me it comes to the waist and has a more relaxed fit.
pic 3: the Loft cropped white denim jacket. Fits much like my Kut jacket - more cropped and fitted.

They both look like good choices to me! The white one would be nice and fresh for spring.

P.S. I am having trouble enlarging the pictures...
Was just thinking though that a more relaxed fit may be more on trend?

Perhaps I should clarify, I am after a white denim jacket (already have a denim one).

The question is - should I go for a more relaxed (two by JC, photo 2) or fitted (Loft, photo 3) option and why?

I am thinking the more relaxed one in two (that's the one I'm having trouble enlarging though) because a more relaxed look seems on trend. It will be easier to tell when you wear it though. On the other hand, you like and wear the denim one a lot and it fits similarly to the one in 3. What about the proportions of that one you owned already do you like with your outfits and can you do the same with the more relaxed jacket as well?

I wear the cropped denim one in these formulas mostly:
black ponte pants OR black tonal snakeskin print pants
bright color short sleeve tshirt
cropped denim jacket w/cuffs folded back

VC tube skirt (b&w stripe or black w/white polka dots)
bright color short sleeve tshirt
cropped denim jacket w/cuffs folded back

The cropped shape works well with both bottoms (pants and skirts).

I assume the relaxed fit would be ok as well, but you have a point. I think I will try them out when I get home tonight to see.

I think part of it is my eye adjusting to the relaxed fit. And I've lost weight recently and tend to want to "show off" a bit more of my figure now that I'm feeling more confident in my own skin. All factors to consider.

I am having trouble seeing the pics, but just as a general statement... I would go with cropped if you're primarily going to wear it with skirts/dresses and longer if you plan to wear with long pants. Personally I hardly ever wear my denim jackets with full length pants so I like cropped ones.

Thanks for chiming in, Diana. I think that is where I'm struggling. I know the more fashionable answer is the relaxed fit, but I love the cropped denim one I have and KNOW that works for me. I also don't have a long torso at all, so cropped is not THAT cropped on me.

I think I'd go with the more fitted cropped one too. It just seems the more flattering and easy to wear option, especially with skirts and dresses. But of course it depends on the way they fit you!

I got the cropped Kut last year and loved it!! cant wait to wear it again. although, here in Cleveland there is still SNOW on the ground!!!

it is well made, perfect lengthe to wear w/ casual dresses and washes well too!
