Which Space-Age Sweater for me? Plus new Rag & Bone!

I wanted to try both colors of the NAS space age sweater as well as the small and the medium.

What do we think?

Pictures 1/2 -- Sweater in Silver, size S
Pictures 3/4 -- in Rose, size M

Also pictured -- my pre-fall splurge, the Rag & Bone "Raja" jean. I'm not sure, I'm thinking of getting these more subtle "Bengal" embroidered ones, are the "Raja's" a little OTT?

Please pardon the weary expression and tired hair... it was up to 109 today and it took a lot of muster to stand by my one and only a/c to model these wintery items! Thank you for looking and advising me!

Love the rose gold, Denise! It looks lovely with your hair and skin. The jeans look fun from what I can tell, too

Yay for rose gold! Brings out a very nice glow in your skin. I like the jeans too, but a bit hard to tell from the pic's

Denise you are making it difficult! I like both colors. The silver is very bright where as the rose seems to suit your coloring and isn't quite as startling as the silver. I actually think either will work witha slight preference for the rose, which do you prefer.

I REALLY like the smaller size better - the sleeves on the M just look too big. I'm the big spanner here, as I like the silver better. The rose gold seems to be a bit too matchy-matchy with your skin and hair. The silver looks "brighter" to me somehow. The jeans are fun!

First, I think you need the small size.

Second, I am torn about the colours. A bit on the fence. The rose gold is soft and gentle and does harmonize with your hair and skin...but, as Sarah says, perhaps too much! I actually really like both colours.

Third, if you keep the silver, these jeans are cool. If you go with the gold, I'd go with the Bengal jeans. I don't know if you plan to wear them as an outfit but it seems nice to have that possibility, no?

Love this! I saw a sweater just like the silver one in H&M a few weeks ago and almost grabbed it but ended up getting some silver metallic jeans instead (for $7!).

Anyway i would definitely go with the small, medium looks way too baggy on you to me. And.....before i looked at anyone else's opinions i preferred the silver but i think that's just because *I* like silver best? Honestly i think you could do either, they both look good.

I like the smaller size, but the rose gold looks beautiful on you! I like both colors though -- I think either one works.

The jeans are very cool. I like them better with the silver.

Definitely the smaller size Denise and although the rose gold is a beautiful colour on you, personally I find the silver more "space age" if that makes any sense. The silver works fab with these jeans which I'm seriously drooling over.

Either color works well on you - rose gold makes you look like a warmer blonde, silver makes you look like a cool blonde. If you are going rose gold, I might switch the jeans to the more subtle pattern. The pattern on these Raja jeans, in white on black, reads as grey (at least on camera), and to my eye, the jeans mesh better with the silver sweater.

I think you could wear either size depending on the look you're going for. I do like the silver better on you.

The jeans are fun but if you're going to go embroidered, I would go all out and stick with the Raja jeans. The Bengal jeans look like a prime candidate for a DIY.

Well I was slightly preferring the silver because of the fit, I just don't have it in me to do another exchange not having a Nordstrom near me.

I don't know about the jeans. I tend to never get around to DIY projects and the fit, on me, of Rag & Bone jeans is consistently *perfect*. Gasp. Never happens with jeans!!! So I don't mind paying for the Bengals. I just think the Raja's are a little too much, this goes with the age appropriate question. Something inside me just feels better with something a little more subdued, does that make sense? So I think these are going back.

My favorite is #2 by far (larger size in silver). The rose gold is pretty but the silver is more striking...

ETA: Sorry, I thought silver was in 2 different sizes! In any case, the smaller size sweater in silver is my vote.

I usually go for bigger and slouchier, but in this case I prefer the smaller size in the silver. I think because it's already quite slouchy on you :).

I love the jeans but if you are thinking something a bit more subdued would be the ticket, then go with your gut, especially since they are full price! Can't go wrong with either pair.

So did you go with the silver sweater and the more subdued jeans? I really like the silver on you. I hear you on not wanting to deal with another exchange. Maybe have a protein snack, say a positive mantra, and exchange for the smaller size? ; )

I really strongly prefer the Bengal jeans. I like those a lot and would be looking for something similar under normal-sized conditions. I saw some I really liked recently--These are the ones that had caught my eye, but they are more summery.

With the sweaters, I just can't make up my mind between color or size. I think maybe the smaller one? I think I am leaning toward silver? Whatever you decide will work. What did you decide?
