Which skirt, if any? ETA one more, and fixed links

I'd like to get a casual skirt, and I'm really drawn to the shape of a straight column below with volume or drape on top (thinking the CM Franny sweater and the JCrew citron tunic I just got, with/without my cropped Tory Burch leather jacket). I'm thinking about a simple tube and found a couple of midi lengths that are inexpensive and seem promising. I just have to be sure to size appropriately so not too too body con. What do you think of these?

ETA: I seem to be gravitating generally to a lot of black and white with citron and navy for color, so any of these would work colorwise. Also, I fixed the links.

I like the Express striped one and the Topshop gingham one. Are you looking for one with a pattern or would you prefer one that was solid?

Also your 2nd and 3rd links are the same.

If you're after a tube skirt like this, may I suggest the Vince Camutos. They are a better fit and quality:

Thanks Angie. There's a nice VC midi stripe that would work. Might have to try that. I'm definitely worried about the fit/quality of Express and TopShop.

I like the topshop ones the best (esp. the gingham) as well as a polka dot midi tube one that appears with others from Camuto in the link that Angie provided.

I was going to suggest the VC striped skirt too. I think half of us here (including me) have it. The stripe one in particular is kind of magic, it seems to work for everyone. You definitely need one (like the VC) that is double layered - prevents see-throughness and hides lumps.

I tried on the VC tube one a while ago and found it didn't work for my figure. It was nicely made, though. What about a woven option? I really like the last one y have posted, even though it may give you a different silhouette. I tend to imagine that with a blouse that's tucked in.

I love love that idea, Laura, but that look is just never great on me.
I just ordered the VC and we'll see how it goes. Fingers crossed.

My Topshop tube skirt was poorly hemmed and came apart when I walked at the bottom. The VC skirt really is good quality. I like a pattern over a stripe but that is just me!
