Generally, parted on one side or the other. Just whichever way it falls

Ginger, how interesting!

I part mine on the left because that gives my very fine hair more lift. If I part it on the right, it is flat as a pancake!

Right, I love Ginger's photos, I want hair like that!

@Liz A. I never thought I'd see MBTI on these forums, but there you go! How exactly did you find out that people were INTJs here - did you ask them or did they take the test, lol?

Left, but middle when I was younger.

Right. When I was younger I parted in the center.

That's fascinating info, Ginger. I had to look at a pic of my childhood self to see if I had a right hand part even then, and sure enough, I did. I guess my mother just did not go with the prevailing wisdom of the time when she started parting her kids' hair.

My hair naturally parts on the left side.

...Some kind of " Moses thing " I suspect.

Left, because I have more grays on the right!

Lol at those of you parting to cover your grays! I've never thought of that, but at 35 with about 10% gray, I probably will be soon
Zaeobi, there was a thread on MBTI on here a while ago, but I can't seem to find it using the search function.
kkards, I love listening to podcasts. I think they're just the right length for my short attention span.

Zaeobi, I'm on my phone and can't link, but if you look for the blog post Colours and Personality, it was a thread by Roxanna from one month ago which linked to that, called something like How does your Personality affect your Wardrobe.
And Ginger those pics are so great!
And Liz if I part, which I don't usually, it is more likely on the left- when I'm trying to look a bit retro for dressing up.

I have cowlicks. I can part my hair, but by midmorning my hair will fall the way it wants. Usually that means a part on the right side.

Liz - forgive me if this was addressed. I did not get to listen to the article and only skimmed the responses. Did they look at handedness? Most people are right handed structurally it's more comfortable to reach the left side on angle than straight up on right for parting hair. Also it's easier to style length with the dominant hand because of strength and dexterity. Were these factors accounted for? I would say anatomy and structure dictate a significant amount of physical choices. I'd be surprised if these do not correlate.

Right, always. I always remind my hair dresser if he starts to part it the other way.

Right side - I have a cowlick so go with it.

Mostly left, but I mix it up and wear a right side or center part for a couple of weeks before reverting.

Left (sometimes I switch for short time on right, then back to left is) how intersting...

Right. And it's impossible to change it. My hair goes back to where it wants to be. I always had the impression that more people part on the left.

When I was a child, my mother parted my hair on my right. She was left-handed. In my 20s, I began parting my hair on my left. I'm right-handed.

@Liz A. I've been going grey since I was 16, & in hard-to-hide places like my temples, so I guess there's no hope for me to part my hair to hide that, lol.

I'm surprised to hear that INTJs took the MBTI test willingly & self-reported on it. Although I suppose they still aren't ISTJ, so that makes enough sense lol.

@Jenni NZ I'm on my phone too unfortunately, lol. I've been putting off buying a new laptop for months now, since I'm trying to find a good 2-in-1 convertible one that I can still use for my editing work. Anyway lol, I wonder what that post would say about me - I'm INFJ but don't exactly shy away from using colour, lol!
