Which shoes should I buy? Edit - now with pics!

Hi everyone. Thanks again for the helpful advice on sperry top-sider sizing. I have another slight problem. Which pair? I've found 2 pairs I like and can only get one. Which one do y'all think is the best for a fun, casual shoe. My plan is to wear it with denim capris this summer.

Yay - purple/purple flannel Angelfish (pic 1)
Nay - navy/pink plaid Bluefish (pic 2)

very nice. Personally I would go for the navy as I like the crispness of it for spring and summer and feel it might work with more than the plum. Which shoe colour is better represented in your clothing for spring and summer?

I love the purple, but it looks fall-ish to me. I think navy would look cleaner and crisper with summer clothing.

I like the color of the navy with the vamp style of the plum. Now Im voting for a shoe that doesnt exist. Not much help here....

I'm with Sarah. I think the style makes a bigger difference than the color. Have you tried on the two styles?

I like the purple for summer, but that is so dependant on how it fits into your wardrobe. Which can you wear with more?

I think there are about a gazmillion iterations of Sperry's, so you might find another one if you decide style then color.

I think it depends on the colors you wear in the summer If you wear faded shades, the purple will be great; if you wear more saturated shades, the navy will be great. If your core neutrals are brown-based, the purple will probably work better; if black-based, the navy. I personally like the crispness of the navy so I have voted for that (I'd probably also swap those laces with cream!), but definitely take a look at what colors are in your summer wardrobe.

ETA: This is because I got traditional brown topsiders and I sorta regret it. They're so... slumming it definitely. The purple are a lot like brown. I wish I'd gotten a kicky black.
