Decision 1: A Tale of Two Wedges
On my left foot: GUESS wedge, comfortable, good stability, neutral color, crossing straps create a flattering/lengthening line for my leg (I really like the V it creates)
On my right foot: BOC (I think), mostly comfortable - BUT one of the straps pushes my pinkie toe in a way that may become troublesome, good stability, light fawn = super neutral

My take: I'm leaning more toward the shoe on my left (GUESS). While I like the knotted straps of the lighter pair, I am concerned about my pinkie toe getting blistered. I also feel that the left pair, though not as close to my skin tone, makes a more flattering line for my leg/ankle than the light pair. Last but not least, while I'm interested in a pair of neutral shoes, I realized that I really like being able to see them...not having them disappear into the background of my skin.

I can go back to DSW tomorrow and pick up one or the other. Which do you prefer?

Same one as you if it seems as though the strap is 'funny' over your pinkie toe now it will probably cause problems when wearing them x

Thoughts of comfort aside, I prefer the criss-cross sandal versus the knotted pair for the way it shows off without competing with your beautiful tattoos (or is it henna? I can't really tell from here). The shoe mirrors the v-shape of the tattoo and the color seems very similar.
Either way, you're beautiful!

I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's the last week before finals for me and I'm pretty much running off of coffee lol

@ Louise - I tend to agree. Very few new shoe discomforts lessen with age.
@ Laura - I sympathize with your finals-riddled brain (though we have quarters here, so I'm just ending week 4 of a new quarter ugh). I agree with your point about the darker pair complementing my tattoos. I didn't really notice it until I looked at the photos again, and realized that that is probably another reason why that pair look more lengthening. They are real tattoos, but designed & colored in such a way that they are usually presumed to be henna.

I prefer #1 without having mentioned the comfort issues -- but having mentioned them, I definitely prefer #1.

Yup I like the non-knotted ones too but since they are both really nice, I would normally choose based on comfort.

I agree with everyone else, the knotted ones seem a bit fussy.

I prefer the shoe on the left. I like the lines of the vamp better.
