Kelly's picture of her snake print shoes pushed me over the brink and I am ready to order while my size is still there...but which pair? I cannot decide between the snake and snow leopard - what YLF wisdom suggests for me?

Hmmm. This is tough. I find leopard print incredibly versatile and it would work as a semi-bookended to your hair. Useful. But you already have the leopard smoking slippers. Would these be worn in similar outfits or different?

Snakeskin is also great. I like my snakeskin booties a lot and I can see these working well with white, cream, ink, and other blue outfits.

I don't suppose you can try both on with some items in your closet?

My leo loafers are regular orange-brown color and these ones are white / black - the same colors as snake skin. The difference as I see it - snakeskin is a subtler pattern and leo is a bolder one. I like them both and this is where the problem is!

Beth, they remind me a bit of Angie's cow print Okalas - I guess this is what makes them so attractive for me. If these were the cow print in white and black I would not be thinking one more minute! :0(

Either could work beautifully. But I think the bolder pattern is more in keeping with your style.

The leopard reads warmer to me and the snake cooler. So I would probably go with snake if you prefer to wear it with cooler tones (grey, black, optic white, silver) or leopard if you prefer to wear it with warmer tones (brown, gold, cream). The snake does seem a little more subtle and neutral (but the leopard is good too!)

To me it's that the leopard is more graphic and snake reads softer & more monochrome. The first would work well with bolder clearer colors & the snake with more muted palette.

Snake seems to go with everything although Mary has shown us that leopard canbe a neutral. Personally I'd go with snake but the snow leopardmay be more fun.
