Which sandal to bring?

Packing for our summer vacation...

1) This is my color palette: cream, turquoise, olive, orange-red, grey, black, and one purple item thrown in. I think I have enough color and neutrals to keep me happy. Anything seem odd to you? Something missing?

2) Black walking sandal showdown! They are both comfortable. One slightly more than the other. Which one should I pack?

I may have more packing/outfit creation questions for y'all tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by to help me out with the colors and sandal choices.

Comfiest should win but if they are about equal, I think the on one the left foot looks more versatile because it can dress up. In the big photo you have, I really love the right sandal, but in the top middle picture, it looks very casual (almost like a Teva-type sandal).

I like the left one (with the V opening) and hope it is most comfortable. I like it because it is so flattering to the leg, and it dresses up and down more easily, to my mind.

I think your colours look excellent, not least because most won't show the dirt! And I also think that choosing stripes as your predominant pattern is a great idea. Stripes don't seem to wear on me as much as other patterns. I don't get sick of them.

1. Hard to know without seeing the actual outfits but the palette looks delicious.

Looks like the left sandal has the majority vote. I'm quite surprised by this. I originally bought the left Naturalizer sandal on clearance ($15) for my upcoming vacation. I feared it skewed on the frumpy, gear-ish side and wouldn't look right with dresses. So I found the right Jambu sandal at Macy's for $78. I was drawn to the feminine feel, but I can see how the velcro strap and rubber sole would make it seem gear like. The Jambu is only slightly more comfortable because there is a tiny bit more arch support. However, since most of you liked the left sandal, then the slight difference in comfort is not worth the extra $63. I'll return them. Thanks for your help!

I like the left one better too. I think that velcro strap is what makes the right one look more gearish.

I liked the one which is stapy and not the plain one. with colours you can also try a nude colour sandal and whites will also look good
