which ruffled summer top?

I never found my perfect pink/blush chiffon top. I am ready to compromise with a tank at this point in the season. I like the ruffled numbers here. I never got on the ruffled bandwagon seasons back so no overkill for me Which would you pick? I'm thinking of pairing with both my white straight leg jeans and also my BF denim shorts with the platform sandals, whenever my ankle finally heals enough. The main differences are:

Oooh, man, this is hard! They are both really lovely blouses. I have not seen the Halogen blouse in person so I am no help. Are you leaning towards one over the other? The second blouse IMO is more girly, more feminine. I think it's the chiffon fabric that makes me think that.

I am truly torn! On the one hand, modal sounds dreamy comfortable, on the other, I love the back on the chiffon one. Wish I could morph them together

I think I saw the first one at Nordstroms last week but can't be sure. I was considering it until I looked at the back and it was sheer enough to show a bra band and more. It's a huge design flaw to me.

I prefer the second one... I think the ruffles just look a bit prettier in chiffon.

Joy, thank you! The reviews said it was sheer but you never know *how* sheer. I don't really want to display my bra, even if it is nude colored!

I have a top like the first one in pink; and it's back is pretty sheer. You'd definitely see a bra. I just wear it with a cardi, but I guess that doesn't work in the summer

I love the color of the first one so much better than the 2nd - but the back sheerness issue would really make me take pause!

I like them both - but I vote for #2. It is not sheer in the back and that kind of cut looks fabulous on you !!!!!!

Oooh! I am torn, too! Both are lovely, but will you be going more casual or dressier with it?

The first blouse seems more versatile (cas/dressy), but the second blouse will show off your lovely back and shoulders.

I think the second one is sheer, too. You can see the waist band of the pants in the photo.....

Ultimately, both are great and I don't think you can go wrong here! Can't wait to see the one you choose.

Well, at this point I'm leaning towards #2. But wouldn't you know it, the price went back up overnight! I was hoping to wait until April 1 to buy so my SYC/SYB wouldn't be more than one month backed up. Maybe the price will go down again by then . . .

#1 is similar to other modal tops I already have and #2 would be more of a departure fabric wise. I like the thought of it bringing something new to the party. I'm also looking ahead at layering either under jackets or sweaters and perhaps the chiffon would dress it up a notch. But, I do agree that the pinkier blush color of #1 is preferable to the taupe blush of #2. Guess I'll just keep watching them both for the next 10 days and hope for a price drop in the meantime!

Ugh, Malina! That is so annoying. If something goes on sale, it should stay on sale! Why do sites do that?

Can't wait to see which one you choose. Perhaps an even more tempting one will fall into view?
