I'm looking for a pair of red shoes I can wear to work, so I'd prefer if they were a little on the dressier side, but still comfortable. I'd like a little bit of a heel. 2" or less would be ideal; however, if they're very comfortable, I can go up to about 2-1/2".

I'm looking at the following:

1. Rockport Mary Cap Toe Bootie Merlot Smooth Leather
2. Spring Step Jubilee Red Leather
3. Spring Step Mirth Red Multi Leather

The last two are a bit too high, but maybe they would work.

I like the booties, which are very cute, but am curious as to whether you think I could wear them with skirts and dresses? Angie suggests wearing stockings in the same color family as booties to make the leg line longer. Would red stockings and shoes look funny with a grey dress, for instance?

Any suggestions?
