I like the catsuit because I prefer trousers in lieu of dresses which may blow up from the winds on a boat.

I have thigh highs that are one leg red and white stripes and one leg blue and white stars. And yes, I've worn them to work on the 4th more than once!

EDIT: underneath my knee length denim dress, I should add!!
