After 3 days of raining, the sun was commin out again this morning. So happy for it, as the beginning of the week was really depressing.

I wanted to wore my white BF jeans with a diagonal sleeved, knitted, fluid fit citron sweater(new this spring), grey comfort(!) shoes and a grey bag. Then a topper of a kind.

In the first row you can see my taupe, suede like, draped front cardi (posted some tricky side and back views, too:-)).

The second row is with a chock brown linen safari jacket.

I also tried a matte metallic ethnic necklace, but took it off before leaving the house as didn't feel like me anymore, especially when I put my specs on. But I will post the picties for your consideration, anyway.

Which topper do you preffer and why?

This is tough because they both look great. I like both toppers but have a slight preference for the safari jacket. I think it's more flattering from the back. Perhaps because the hemline matches the line of your top?

The taupe topper is a beautiful color with the citron, and I really like the combination as well, and even prefer that color. Both styles look good from the front. I agree with you about the necklace, I think I like it better without.

Another vote for taupe. I just like the color and style better than the chocolate one for this outfit.

I mch prefer the taupe cardi. It complements the other pieces whereas the choccy brown makes for a very stark contrast, especially against your blonde colouring.
It's a super outfit Lyn and I agree, you don't need the necklace.

And I like the back view too, I think the different hems look interesting not clashing.

I too prefer the lighter taupe cardigan. I think the lower contrast works and so do the proportions, plus I prefer the back view proportions. You look great.

I prefer the first one (taupe) for its lighter colouring. Both work but that one my fav. I like the lines it creates with the drape in front. Ties in well with your shoes too.

In all seriousness, both look good, but I like the interesting lines that the taupe creates. You look great!

Both look great on you. With these shoes and bag, I prefer the taupe because the color makes for a more cohesive look. I do love the darker chocolate brown with your coloring and the yellow shirt though.

Your first outfit looks fabulous in every way. You really have nailed that outfit and it flatters you 100%. I think the second outfit would perhaps look better with a white top rather than the yellow. Whilst the top and the jacket look nice individually, I don't love them together.
