What better advice than advice from some ladies!?
Which one looks better? I don't have any goal in mind... just trying to be a little casual, yet classy.

Welcome! Both look good:) I would ask is this for work? I think given you are going for casual but classy I am more inclined to suggest #1 without the tie.

Both look great. You can definitely get away with no tie for the market. Still very classy sans tie!

Like the color combination in #2 a lot but can see the problem with tie when going for casual.

Both look great, but you cannot possibly go wrong with wearing a tie so I vote for that. It adds extra dimension to the outfit and that classy dimension you're after. Your wear yours in a very relaxed way, so classy+relaxed/effortless = winner. I also like low contrast of the shirt, tie and sweater.

Welcome! I also like both, but the first seems the most casual and approachable. The second look gives you more authority and edge.
