Which lipstick suits me the most?

I've been wanting to confirm i'm correct thinking i'm a soft Autumn so tried some lipsticks on virtually. I tried some soft summer and some soft autumn to compare. Which number do you think is the best? (I think all could work but I prefer some more than others). I won't be buying chanel though, so would have to find vegan dupes. However I feel like one of the colours here somewhat matches the lipstick colour I wore at my wedding. All were taken in the same light. Yellow overhead facing a south facing window on an overcast day.

I like all but the last two, which seem too pink for your complexion. 3-5 look a lot alike. Any one of those should be enough. I like a coral on you but am no expert.

#4 is my fave. I agree with Joy that the last two are too pink for you.

I like #2 picture - not really shiny, natural looking lip color with some cool undertone ( at least it looks like that to me ).

If you are not going to do regular eyeliner-mascara and such - lipstick should be slightly more noticeable than just some lipgloss-tint ( just my two cents ).

2 and 3 are my faves. Fwiw, I think you should always pick those colors from the seasonal palettes that you think you look good in and not the whole palette. Everyone's coloring is unique, and color doesn't stand alone either. Your hair looks more neutral now than it does in your wedding pic, and so your overall coloring looks a little cooler to me now.

I like #1 and #2 the best. The last two are too frosty pink for your complexion and wash you out a bit.

Without looking at others' responses, I would rank them (from favorite to least favorite): 2, 4, 3, 6, 5.

5 and 6 are too cool; the other three are very similar visually so maybe pick the formula that feels the best?

Like everyone else my immediate reaction was not 5 and 6. I prefer the wedding colour, then second best is pic 2. You definitely need some warmth to the lipstick in my view though not sure how that fits with “soft autumn”. Although I think autumn is regarded as a “warm” season? In your skin thread I think we decided your skin is somewhat neutral. I was thinking about lipstick for you last week. Not sure if it is vegan, that would need checking, but I love Natio Australia. My favourite warm red is Playful. ( Second pic attached).

Thank you everyone, So I have a problem. I realise it completely depends on the shade of the light I'm under. I took the same 4 lipsticks 2 warm 2 cool on the Mac virtual try on. Under warm light the warm looks better, under cool light the cool looks much better. I wouldn't know how to choose! Of course it would be better to try the lipstick on my lips in real life because maybe the virtual ones aren't that accurate but it is interesting how the colour changes depending on the lighting. They must have some sophisticated coding.

Twig and Verve are, without doubt, the best. I think either is better than the original pics (unless something drastic is happening with the lighting and one of the original shades IS Twig or Verve). I could never find a lipstick shade I liked until I went to MAC. I've never found anything comparable to their shades. Sometimes they are only incrementally different, but that can have a huge effect on how they make a person look.

I like pictures 2,3 and 4 for you . I’m a softer autumn and have to be careful of blue based pinks .

Funny -Twig and Verve look nothing like that on me . Twig looks absolutely greyish on my lips .

Echo, the originals are chanel ones, I won't be buying from either place but just wanted to get an idea of which shades suit me and what undertone I had. I will though try find vegan dupes. Thank you to Gillian for recommending axiology. They are on my radar, but was thinking of trying a Korean brand called dear dahlia. I might need a few anyway. I'd like to get one from la bouche rouge too but might wait until we can travel again before buying so I can try it in person. I mean i'll have a mask on anyway before then so no rush.

Twig and Verve look the best so far, so try to find a vegan brand with similar shades I reckon.

Very interesting but I am not good at this at all. My impression is the warmer lower contrast colors seem to suit you best.

I agree with others that the last two are too cool ... however, I am cool-toned and can also find lipsticks to be too cool ... so it's not a perfect science. FWIW, I think you are overall a 'soft' and can probably go towards soft summer or soft autumn depending on your preferences. As you say, lighting, surroundings, time of year, whether you have a tan, whether you are tired - all these things play such a role that I don't think it's possible to be too precise (says the woman who spent years trying to be too precise - so I do understand the rabbit hole!! )

Helena, yeah I'm coming to the conclusion that as long as I stay with muted colours I think i'm probably okay either way. There isn't a massive difference between the colours anyway. At least to my eye.

Number 2-4 look almost the same but I like all three of them, I think the darker pink shades look best on you. They stand out but not too much.
