It's really hard to see (I can't tell what the neckline is like on the first one), but I'm more drawn to #2 for you. It seems more sophisticated.

I'm torn. The first dress reminds me most of the fab second dress on your shoes three ways post, which I loved, but Dress 2 is also similar. The two dresses may work for different seasons because of sleeve lengths. Do you need a LBD for summer or maybe you need both

Hm #2 seems like an obvious "that could work for Ornella" option but I'm actually very curious about #1 on you. The cap sleeve is good, the slightly flared skirt is good, and the longer slim bodice could be potentially good; the high neck in that style, I'm not sure on but I'd have to see to be certain. I voted for #1 simply because it has the possibility of being something a little different to what you have yet still contains a lot of the elements that you love and that work for you.

The answer is very straightforward. You must get both and try them. You must pirouette in them, drape them with pearls and scarves, and try on your best shoes. Then the answer will be clear. Definitely.

I say #2, because the first looks like is has a defined waist, and it might not hit you in the right spot. I like the open neckline of #2, also. If you want to have a less open neckline, you can adorn it with one of your fabulous scarves.

I say #2 if you can pull off the wide neckline - it's a favorite neckline of mine (though my shoulders are narrow, so I must be careful).

Although they were from the range for tall ladies and I was about to order both, I realised that they were both too short and would hit me above the knees. That I don't want.
