Which jacket do you like best?

These are a great price at Nordstrom's and I know I need more jackets. It's my favorite way to dress up a scoopneck top or button down top or even a tunic length. I probably don't *need all three though. Which do you like the best?

I think I like the second one best. The third one seems a bit overwhelming to me.

I'm thinking of getting either tan or chestnut in the first one.

I just ordered boots in dark brown and in Taupe/Tan color. Do leathers need to match? My DH is a stickler for matching leather.

I like the style of the first best. Sorry to disagree with your DH, but I would probably not match my leather jacket to my boots. Complementary colors, yes, but not matching.

I like the first one best, and I agree with Jonesy that leathers are best not matched. As Clinton and Stacy would say, they don't have to MATCH, they just have to GO.

Ah, that's good news about the leathers not having to match! I don't know how well I would match my leathers.

Ok, after your comments, I definitely say that 3 is out. It doesn't tape in the waist like I need jackets to do. I really like #1's "smart" look, but I also like the ruffles and feminine puff sleeves of #2. Do you think the pockets are too much in #1? Since they are both 'faux' leather and reasonably priced (on sale), I may get them both. We get a long winter here, so these would get a lot of wear. I always wear something on top of my regular shirt and I'm trying to phase out wearing my hoodies so much.

Ooh lovely jackets but I like #1 the best. It looks like a jacket that can be dressed up or down.

I really like the first and second, but #2 the most. I think the chesnut color is so versatile and would look great with your hair and coloring.

I like #1 and #2 - you'd need to order them both to compare, if possible. The placement of the chest pockets in #1 could be tricky and you want to make sure they hit you in the right place.

I think #1 has the most potential for being flattering, and it sounds like the color options will "GO" with your boots. I vote #1.

#2 has the scuba look which may not lay right on your hips?
