Thrifted skirt that I usually wear with cropped denim jacket & black sandals.
Which if these looks work?
1 with striped top & belt
2 with peplum
3 with chambray shirt
4 with black cami & moto jacket
5 with black cami, belt & cropped denim jacket

Yes-a tuck and a jacket is the best-so, the last 3:-).

I like the last 2 best. After that, I like #2. There's something about the black band around the waist that makes me not like #1 or #3 as much as the others.

Great skirt. I particularly like the styling in #1 and #2 - with the tops that give the most structure.

My favorites are #1 and #4, with #5 as runner-up.

I'm undecided about the third element being added by the shoes (snakeskin or suede gray) and whether a black shoe (or white for #1) might keep the focus more on the skirt?

I like the dramatic pattern on the skirt and the fabric texture and rich rust color. You wear bold graphic patterns so well.

First off, the skirt is the shining piece it is beautiful. I love fits 1,3,4,5 I love the strong contrast, the texture how each individual piece to my eye does not compete for attention with the other. I enjoy how they work together. Now this is just my opinion I could do with out the belt I think it is to wide and does nothing to enhance the beauty that is already happening.

The next thing is I feel like if you wanted to wear a belt it should be in a contrasting color and it should be thinner as in the width of the belt and placed directly in the middle of the black band. Just my two cents but, there you go great job again with the styling. I would love 2 if it had a slim yellow or gold or white or any color belt with it to enhance the peplum shape.

I think also that I have a belt obsession :0

I like all of them very much. The least of them is #2 for me and only because in comparison to the others it looks a little less finished. You've done a great job with the skirt and various toppers/heels. You've got some great outfits!

Can you wear that black belt in 2 as well, higher on the top above the peplum? I think that might add a nice finishing touch to that outfit. I like all of the other options.

I love the last two looks with the jackets, and I rather like no. 1, although I'm a little unsure about the look of the black belt on the black band of the skirt. Actually, on second thoughts, perhaps my concern is just the opposite, not the black-on-blackness of it, but the strong contrast of the prominent buckle. I might experiment with a subtler belt (thinner, less buckle) just to see what I thought. I don't care of the proportions of the peplum over the midi length of the skirt in no. 2, but that might also be affected by the angle of the picture. No. 3 is lovely, but lacks the "wow" factor of the last two looks. Great skirt!

So based on everyone's wonderful advice - the peplum is a fail, the belt is out but maybe a narrower belt if I do wear one and the looks with jackets are definitely. I think I'll still play around with the striped top and will wear black shoes with the skirt to pick up and echo the black pattern.
