Which dress?

Continuing the de-blacking phase AND discovering dresses for the first time in years, I have the following two to choose from. The style is the same, the colours go into my plan. Will I go plain, or the multicolour? Which might be more versatile/statement. I have a mainly plain colour wardrobe...

Hmmm. Tough call. Which blue do you think suits you better?

If your wardrobe is mainly plain, a patterned dress could give it a great boost and could become a favourite fallback outfit.

OTOH, you might tire of it more quickly; the plain can be more easily dressed up or down and for some reason seems more cross seasonal to me.

Both are beautiful, Jen. I have a preference for #1, as is would be more versatile and I love the intensity and the balance between the open neckline and the length. That said, I find that jersey dresses can cling a bit, and I look for either a substantial weight fabric or a print. A graphic print like this one has great power to obscure "bits" without requiring layers.

Jen I like them both! I like the neckline of the second dress in particular. The plain dress looks dressier whereas the second dress would work for me as a "day" or "office" dress. Can you get both and take pics for us?

I like them both, too! The plain dress looks more timeless and slightly more dressy. The neckline on #2 is beautiful, the colors likewise. With a mainly plain wardrobe, you will have a lot of options with either of these, I suppose. Pick the one that makes you feel the most fab!
