Which color should I get, x2 - YouLookFab Forum

I've been craving a pair of colored jeans, preferably red, but haven't found the perfect pair. I keep thinking that one will fall into my lap once fall items start to get clearance priced, but so far that hasn't happened. I'm looking at two possibilities online right now:

red jeans from Chico's - good points are they're available in tall and in the red I want, bad points are that Chico's jeans are often too high waisted on me

AT colored jeans - not available in a red but in a hot pink in regular, or a purple-y if I get tall (don't really need tall in AT for wearing with flats, but I could hem). I know these will fit because the AT curvy cut works well for me. Do you think the hot pink could be as versatile as the red?

Also, if I go for the Chico's pair, I might buy a shell to qualify for free shipping - Mia tank. I'm tempted by the pink but it occurs to me that the gold might be really useful, although I'm not sure it's my color.

The purple-y is nice, but which color works best with the rest of your wardrobe? Would the rise in the tall work?

Hot pink would go with white, black, grey, pink, blue, navy, other pinks. If you want to really sock it to people, colour-wise, add bright yellow, purple and some shades of green to the mix. If that's what you have in your wardrobe, it would be pretty versatile. And even if it's called hot pink, it still strikes me as falling more in the cool spectrum. Is that what suits you?

If you like the fit of the AT best, I would go with those. I tried to find the purple but couldn't get to the link. Pink seems a little spring and summer to me and that would be the only thing that might sway me to another color.
