Thanks for the blind recommendations, everyone! I know it's hard to judge without seeing them on, but I am shoe-blind after looking at so many and appreciate your help winnowing before I order.
Thanks krishnidoux, dakotacheryl, Tanya and Colette for affirming my draw to the maple/cognac Pixie. The black, on some level, is a no-brainer (sharp and classic) but I'm challenging myself to avoid black when other options are available. And the maple/cognac = bookending.
