Ella -- before you buy, could we exchange a few posts?
I have spent my entire life building my wardrobe around black. Black pants. Black shoes. Black bags. It was solid. It was utilitarian. It was a bit boring.
One year, I struck out and started buying non-black items. It was revolutionary. I never realized just how utilitarian my wardrobe had been and how it had completely lacked that "interest" factor.
I don't know you well enough to really comment here, but I would recommend the pink. Before I go all in on the pink, I would need to know a bit more about your situation (wardrobe colors).
I started out by adding color complements to my wardrobe. The complements broke up the black and inserted a lot of interest. I also resolved to avoid buying more black and to always select the item of color (assuming it coordinated with the rest of my wardrobe).
Regardless, the bag is lovely. Either choice will be a winner.
