Oh Anna, it's HARD to decide. I feel like black would get more everyday use, but the burgundy makes the blonde hair and blue eyes pop on that model, and I think you would look stunning in it!
I don't view the turban as a cultural appropriation item in fashion. They were popular and stylish in the States and Great Britan in the 1920's, but I think you can find them in fashion illustrations from pre-WWI, in both British and American society.
I do feel that if you wear a turban, your outfit is not going to be complete, if you don't have a jewelled cigarette holder in one hand, and a martini in the other.
