I'm slightly enamoured with the idea of a turban. I found this at full price but it was very expensive for a whackadoodle item. Thanks to the Finds price notification it has dropped significantly.
It comes in black and burgundy and I'm genuinely torn. I look good in both colors.

I went and looked at the burgundy and I really love the color -- I think it would be great with your hair and with denim.

Since you look good in both colors, which will go better with what you're currently wearing? You've been wearing lots of denim, correct? Do you want color with your denim (burgundy) or a neutral (black)?

Ok, that's awesome and I can totally see you in a turban.

Do you see yourself wearing it with casual day outfits or more as an evening thing, like to the opera? I think is go with burgundy for day and black for night.

I think I prefer the burgundy. The quality of the burgundy looks better than the quality of the black in pics to me. But black has that dark spooky thing going... but I'd probably go for quality over dark and spooky.

I'd pre-plan some outfits and think about which color would work better with them.

I like them both, but I like the burgundy with your hair especially. And it would look good with denim. Would you wear it more with denim or for a night out? If a night out, I would probably go black. But I do really like the burgundy.

When I was looking for my floppy fedora I really wanted burgundy but ended up with black. Both colors work for me, as well. I'm happy with it, but burgundy sets itself apart a bit from the crowd of black, IMO. Go for burgundy.

Burgundy is a sexier color. . .and more interesting IMHO. Knock-offs are more likely to show up in black as black seems to be a default for many mfrs. The turban will look fab on you!

The black is cute but I'd personally stay away from turbans just because of the cultural appropriation aspect of it.

Isn't your large fedora burgundy? Or am I mistaken?... I think burgundy in a turban would be great. It really suits you.

So I just have to say - if you buy a long rectangular silk scarf you can do up your own turbns and shopping for vintage brooches, you could change up the brooch as much as you like. I would seriously go that route over buying a turban already made. Just a thought.

Just looking at the model pics, the burgundy looks swell with blonde hair/blue eyes and make-up options. Very alive.

I quite turbans - never worn one, but really appreciate them on women who can and do. I'd go burgundy. Can, can absolutely see you in one.

I agree with Diana, burgundy for a day vibe and black for a night vibe. My personal preference is for the burgundy though

I say go with the burgundy with your hair color it would be a great addition.

The black looks a little more elegant.but it's true the burgundy would be pretty with your blond hair.
I guess if you plan to wear it with mostly black, I'd continue with the black, but if mostly lighter neutrals, like cream or grey, the burgundy.
It's not outright fortune teller-y, more turban crossed with toque but Gennifyr is right, it might not be appropriate for all occassions.

Oh Anna, it's HARD to decide. I feel like black would get more everyday use, but the burgundy makes the blonde hair and blue eyes pop on that model, and I think you would look stunning in it!

I don't view the turban as a cultural appropriation item in fashion. They were popular and stylish in the States and Great Britan in the 1920's, but I think you can find them in fashion illustrations from pre-WWI, in both British and American society.

I do feel that if you wear a turban, your outfit is not going to be complete, if you don't have a jewelled cigarette holder in one hand, and a martini in the other.

I'd go with burgundy. It is a color that will get a lot of fall/winter use, it looks great on you and ....I just love burgundy.

I love the dramatic nature of this. I also like the reference to Western fashions of the 1920s and 1970s that headwear like this offers. I agree with many of the others here that burgundy is just a little bit more unexpected and interesting than black, although either would be wonderful additions to a wardrobe. Such a change from tees and jeans, though of course you could wear it with them too!

Turbans! ! Turbans remind me of my mother who made and wore two of them at some point, one turquoise, and one tomato red. Burgundy reminds me of my DD who at the age of three started telling people that burgundy was her favorite color. (We suspected fairly early we had an artist on our hands). This is my way of saying YESS!! I love the idea of a burgundy turban! Awesome!
