Which Boots? - YouLookFab Forum

The top item on my want list is a pair of casual, brown, knee high, flat or low heeled boots with no ankle detailing and no slouching. Of the following, which do you prefer? UK based ladies have you stumbled across any that I haven't found? I am a size 39 or UK 6.

Fab selection. I was on a major black boot hunt before Christmas and bought from Jones. I think my feet are wider than yours, although I'm a 39 too. Have you looked there - the only one I could see that was similar to the ones you're looking at are these:

I like all of the ones you've linked to so sorry no help there, except that have you thought about the weatherproofing issues? I only say that as I'm now thinking about a pair of Docs for next year as I struggled with waterproof shoes in the snowy/slushy weather this year. Will that sort of question make a difference to your choice?

Thanks for your reply, I looked at those ones from Jones the Bootmaker last night, but they are no longer available in a 39. My current heeled black boots are from Jones and are so comfortable and are in to their 3rd season now (re-soled and heeled).

I have snow boots, so no problems with shoes suitable for snow and living in central London most footpaths are cleared reasonably promptly.

Fi I got my Docs direct from the Doc Marten website http://store.drmartens.co.uk/c.....8;sortby=1 I nearly died as mine have been reduced by £30 but thankfully they don't have my size in stock so I've recovered, the ones from cloggs are cheaper though. The official site is great with returns though x

Thanks Louise. Cloggs don't do free returns unless you are just swapping an item. So I might have to try the Docs on first to see about fit. I like the idea of lace ups as they will be a further contrast to the other boots of various heights that I have, that are all black.
