Joined about a year ago finding that this blog offered information about Petites!!!!! Only recently did I begin to follow all aspects of the blog and have learned so much. Thank you all for such great insight.
I have always had a pretty limited wardrobe at 4'10" and 82 lbs, there isn't much I can buy that doesn't need expensive alterations. However it seems the fashion industry has recently blossomed with petite sizing.
The other confounding factor is a super busy schedule. I have 4 kids still at home, work full time as a nurse (not such exciting wardrobe options!). 1-2 times a week I will wear dressy casual or business casual.
I have done a wardrobe purge. My wardrobe has lots of black, grey, navy. Given how expensive clothes can get with alterations, what are some suggestions for late winter/early Soring items that add a pop of color yet don't linger in the back of my closet.
I would like to build on a great magenta trench coat from Banana Republic last season.
Looking forward to suggestions!
