Where to find plain classic v-neck tees in an assortment of colors?

Hey! I'm looking for tees, and I was wondering where you get yours? I tried Target, with no luck. I'm looking for something cheeper than American Apparel, since their stuff doesn't last well, but essentially want their plain v-neck tee.

I've also seen some nice ones at Nordies under the brand "Stem".

I have some from both Three Dots and Old Navy. Alternative Apparel has some nice soft tees, too. I got mine off eBay and Karmaloop but here's their site. http://www.alternativeapparel.com/Consumer.aspx

Hi Laurel.

J C Penney's St. John's Bay tees are the best I've found anywhere. The cotton fabric is soft and superior to tees costing much more. I like the crew neck version.

If you want a less body conscious fit, tees from Lands' End or LL Bean are really well-made and wear like iron.

I've found really nice ones at Sears, of all places. Not Land's End, but just some Sears house brand. Lots of colors, nice and soft and not too thin.

MsMaven, you could buy some of the JCP tees as extras! At that price, you could get every color you want. St. John's Bay is one of JCP's store brands, and it is superb. Their ribbed tanks are also fab AND inexpensive.
