Where to find a Denim Pencil Skirt??

I am looking for a dark wash denim pencil skirt. I know Banana Republic had one earlier in the summer; if anyone has that one and wants to share whether they like it I'd like to know. Otherwise, has anyone found any good, dark wash quality denim pencil skirts lately? Looking to spend $50 or less if possible!

I have just seen a bunch of cute ones, in a couple of different cuts, at H&M for about $25-$30.

Unfortunately they do not sell their things online, only in the stores.

Old Navy has one marked down to $25 right now. I tried it on in the store, and am probably going back to get one. I saw some at Kohl's the other day, too. They seem to be cropping up everywhere.

I bought a very similar version last year, and I love it. Worth every penny, in my opinion. It goes with everything and I like that there is no zipper in the front, so tops lay flat.

I do like that J.Crew one and it has the look that would take otherwise overly casual outfits up a needed notch. I think I'll watch it to see if it goes on sale for a while. Thanks for the recommendation, the part about it lying flat under tops is particularly useful.

I have the BR jeans skirt that you are referring to. I love it!!! It is beautifully cut and very flattering. I've been wearing every weekend, sometimes even to the office for the casual Friday. I hope you find it.

Jaime and After5, I have found the BR skirt though at $55 plus tax its a tad more than I was wanting to spend - but if it is truly great it may be worth the $$$. I cant locate pictures of it on the site anymore so by virtue of its sold out status it may be evidence enough. How is the wash - is it fairly dark or does it have distressing? DId you have to have it altered?

It's a little distressed, looks like sitting marks, but the denim is on the dark side. I like it because it still looks elegant, but you can also dress it down if you want. I didn't have it altered. It doesn't have a back slit, so you have to take smaller lady-like steps.
Maybe your local BR store can have it shipped there. That way you only pay for the skirt, not shipping. Good luck!

I got mine at ATL for a ridiculous $5 last fall.

If this is the BR denim skirt that was available recently, I didn't love it because it had whiskering right around the hips. If you have straight hips that might look fine, but it just emphasized mine, so I skipped it.

Audrey, Thank you for your input b/c I do have a somewhat curvy hourglass figure.....the skirt is gone from both of my local stores and the internet but I think I have tracked it down in a store across the country. So any input from someone who remembers it in person is very welcome. I think I"d look best in one with very minimal fading/ whiskering and a pretty uniform dark color. I may skip this one and try Macy's or something...thanks again!
