Where is Antje? Question for you

April

Antje, every morning when I open my closet, I see two floppy silk-flower pins that I haven't worn yet and think, I must get advice from Antje on how to use these, since she *owns* that look.

But haven't seen you on the forum much lately -- am I just reading the wrong threads? I hope all is well; if you're around, could you offer thoughts on how to use fabric flower pins (4" diameter range)?

April! I’m not Antje, but I can help you out if you like. Let’s see the pins against you first – make sure we have the right scale for Thumbelina little you. These visuals might be helpful too:

Antje has had TERRIBLE shoulder and neck pain and had to stop using the computer as prolifically as she used to. But she is on the mend and will be back soon :0)

Antje is definitely the floral pin queen, she's created some very fun looks with them. (Hope your shoulder and neck feel better soon, Antje!)

I thought I'd post an outfit of mine I wore to a business meeting recently. Perhaps it will help you to come up with more ideas.

I just attached it to the collar of the cowl neck top. Easy;-)

After the rave reviews on the YLF challenge, I'm going to experiment a bit more with the pin + scarf look too. (tying the scarf in different ways and seeing where I can position the pins...)

So sorry to hear about your injury, Antje! (I hope you're reading even if typing is not advised at the moment.) Thanks for picking up the thread, Angie. I think my pins are less oversized than the ones Antje sports so beautifully, but will welcome thoughts on whether they are too much for my Thumbelina -- ahem -- frame.

Wow, Inge -- that is a look I would never have thought of and it's amazing! I did wear one of my pins today and will see if I can get a snap to post.

Okay, here is the outfit I wore with the flower pin. This pin is very deep purple, and my other is the same one in a nude shade.

AT citron top; R&S pinstriped jeans; Me Too Salems in purple; AT jacket.

(I stuck my foot out to show my shoe, but I promise these jeans are hemmed for PPL with these shoes.)
