Hi Everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted--it's been a crazy few days!
My orientation and registration for the University of Texas (which I'm transferring to in August) was on Monday. That lasted all day (I caught the bus at 7am and didn't get back until late that night). Since I'm a transfer student I basically get last pick of all the classes, so it was hard to find courses that weren't full. I did manage to register for 13 credits, but they e-mailed me today and said that one of my classes was already canceled. So now I have to find another elective class that isn't *too* much work, because I'm currently going to take Calculus, Astronomy, and Medieval Literature, all of which will be very challenging. All the "fluffy" classes are full, too--it's down to stuff like "Introduction to Neural Networks of the Brain," aka "Memorize your text book and learn Organic Chem at the same time." Yikes! Oh well. They do have a class called "Clothing and Human Psychology" which would be really awesome, but you have to be a fashion major to take it. I saw it and thought of you lot, though.
Yesterday I was at school all day and then I went straight to a meeting for the dog rescue group I volunteer for, which lasted until almost 10pm.
Anyway, I'm sure that was really interesting for you guys to know, hee hee. I'm okay though. I've been trying to catch up with all the posts, since it's been so active! It might take me a little bit, but I'll do it tonight. I've read over some of them already and it looks like some people have bought some fabulous stuff (San in the DVF jacket--outstanding!).
