Where is a good place to look for outfit suggestions?

I used to love polyvore, but that's gone. I need to get together some outfit ideas for work. I prefer chinos or linen trousers with oxford-type sneakers with knit blazers. I'm having trouble finding stuff. Can you help?

Hi, I miss Polyvore. There are some outfit generator apps, but you will have to spend the time to photograph your wardrobe items first. YLF also has an outfit generator - I noticed you don't have any Finds or Wardrobe items here but you can use other's collections to create outfits, it will just be very random. It's not bad, sometimes the suggestions don't make sense, but it's a good starting point. You won't find on your phone though, you'll have to use the tablet/desktop view, then go to Finds, My Finds and it will be on the right side.
Another place you can get inspiration is online stores such as Nordstrom where you can pick an item and at the bottom it will give "Look" suggestions https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/a.....rd%20print
I get a lot of my inspirations from Pinterest too.

LOL! ROG - the YLF Random Outfit Generator was an elaborate April Fool's joke from a few years back that has actually been used (tongue in chic) by a few members to create some wildly interesting outfit combinations. I believe member Joy had a lot of fun with it!

I miss Polyvore as well. Currently I depend on Pinterest. I'll type in 'olive chino outfit women' or 'olive chino style' and see what pops up. I collect the images onto a board called 'Copy This'. I'll periodically curate it and recently deleted all in order to start again.

Haha, thanks for clarifying the YLF outfit generator, Runcarla I always wondered about the suggestions! I do the same on Pinterest and it's lots of fun. I've also started using my images to do something similar to Polyvore on MS Office programs, currently experimenting with PowerPoint and having fun with it.

I have a couple of suggestions:
1) using finds show us an example of what you’d like to build your outfit around. Tell us something about how you/or office looks ie business casual, casual etc and let us suggest some looks
2) Nordstrom’s - as mentioned above now was a polvore like “outfits” feature. Start with a item similar to what you want to build around
3) Pinterest or google images, use the word outfit in your search ie chino business casual outfit women. IMO the biggest limitation with this is that you don’t know how current the image is,

And let me tell you: there is an absolute dearth of full-length women's trousers that are machine washable. How hard is it to find curvy chinos? Talbots and Lands End discontinued them...because?

Em, check out Uniqlo—as of last week the had a few linen pants in a similar cut that are full length and machine washable. The three styles I tried on all well constructed. I have a 30 inch inseam and had to hem the two styles I got.

Finds are a nice way to create wardrobe capsules! What about checking some of the outfit bloggers for inspiration? Inge posts a new one each week- and you can search them in the menu.
