I'm crazy about these articles Lucky magazine used to do that were called "A month of outfits". I've seen a similar posts on Redbook. The idea is to use a limited set of clothes, usually half current but accessible pieces and half "basics", and show a large number of outfits built with these items. Unfortunately, Lucky stopped doing them, and Redbook usually only do 2 a year (autumn and spring).
