Where do you buy white t-shirt

I am looking for a good white or cream t-shirt for the summer. It need not to be see through. It needs to be reasonably priced. Anyone have any ideas.

One of my few retail purchases were Uniqlo U white t-shirts to wear under sweaters. The reinforced neckline has held up well, which was my main concern.

Like Jaime, I buy t-shirts from Uniqlo, U line. They are a bit too long on me but I like the neckline (some might find it tight) and good, substantial jersey fabric. More expensive but better length on me, Clean Cut t-shirts from COS.

I've found it very tricky to find tees that fit well. For me the neckline is often too loose/baggy when the body fits well. And even petite sizes are often too long so I've often shortened them.

Debbie, often the simple things are the most difficult. A good quality and a decent fit is not an easy task in a plain item - it can’t hide flaws behind a print or extra details.

I tried Gap t-shirts because they offer petite sizing. In my experience, they pill with use. I tried Everlane t-shirts and initially was happy but they got twisted at the seams after wash (a common problem with t-shirts where jersey fabric wasn’t cut straight).

Uniqlo U t-shirts are well known for their excellent quality. I cut hems in some t-shirts and wear longer ones under sweaters.

I second the recommendation for the COS clean cut tee. Expensive but it has held up very well (I hang to dry), and the cut is great if you want something slightly boxy and not too long.

Hi Debbie, I don’t know what is considered reasonable anymore, BUT I recently bought two Lauren tee shirts in different colors and I’m so happy with them that I’m going back for the white. The quality is really good, and I appreciate the longer sleeve. The only downside I see is that they are too long to wear untucked, if that’s a requirement. I sized up. Good luck on on your quest.

I have had good luck with Old Navy for casual t’s. They’re surprisingly good quality and more than reasonable. I bought a periwinkle Madewell t last fall for a trip and may look at a white one bc it’s so comfy. My all time favorite is Splendid—they have a lot of sales.

I got a good one at Uniqlo last year, and Athleta has some nice ones too. Don’t sleep on Lands End either — I got a couple of long sleeve tees a year or so ago (had to get them hemmed because they’re so long) and they’ve held up extremely well.
