Vicki, I have Hue tights but not their leggings; I believe Sveta has experience with those.
But the legging jeans (jeggings or leans or whatever we are calling them!) from the Gap are different.
They are somewhere between a legging and a jean in weight and in the (ahem) all important crotch area they do not look or fit like a legging (i.e. highlighting all one's lady parts) but more like a traditional jean...meaning that they can be worn as jeans, not as leggings. Does that make sense? Most of us would never wear a legging without a top that completely covers the bum, so in other words, some kind of tunic. But the jeggings you can wear with shorter tops if you feel comfortable with your thighs.
They are great tucking jeans with tall boots because they are very smooth on the thigh like riding breeches and no excess fabric at the ankle.
I talk like a real expert here. But I have never actually OWNED a pair.
