It's really rare for my favorite autumnal colors to be trending in the spring/summer, but they are this year, and I am LOVING it. I just received a new swimsuit, and filled a longstanding hole in my gear capsule because Athleta has items in cinnamon this season.

Are your colors abundant at retail right now, and do you stock up when they are?

Cinnamon is a prominent color in my brown eyes so I should stick up. I have added a few pieces but they are for the warmer weather that I’m still waiting for. I am waiting for peach, taupe and light aqua blue to have their moments.

Yes, I am starting to see my colours (True Winter in seasonal colour analysis) appear here on shelves in Australia as the weather cools down. It feels like forever since I saw cool brights on the shelves and I am having a hard time not running out and buying everything just because I can!

But, I do want to stock up, so I am trying to focus on buying items that fill my wardrobe gaps. I needed to replace my winter coats, so I bought the purple one below, and I'm going to try the green one on today.

Think I need that hoodie already have a cinnamon bikini from last year! Unfortunately its been scarce in workwear, which is the vast majority if my dressing need-so I haven't been stocking up yet.

How unusual to find a bathing suit in cinnamon. Yay!
I love cinnamon and am hoping for pants in this colour.
I’d say that my colours are decidedly NOT having a moment right now, but that’s ok. My light grey and navy have been in the spotlight for a while.

As a wearer of mostly cool colours I'm facing the opposite situation at retail right now, but that is okay. I don't have pressing needs and can wait it out. Plus, it's pretty much always possible to get blue and white, my core summer neutrals.

Yes! The browns are back here and selling out fast. I’m also seeing lots of teal, which is one of my favourites. It’s hard to resist stocking up when the retail drought has gone on for so long.

Cinnamon swimsuit! Love it! Earth tones are my favorites. I am so happy to be seeing many to choose from and across all season. For a long time it seemed that earth tones were consider fall colors.

I really like the cinnamon swimsuit - very fresh and unusual colour on swimwear. Perfect for you. Earthy colours don’t love me, but I try to stock up shocking pinks, bold purples, bright lemon and other “bright cool” colours when they appear in retail.

I only love cooler browns but am so please to see *any* brown back in stores after what feels like decades of gray.

I stock up on favourite hard to find colours. Red is one of the few non neutrals that seems available all the time, but other colours are often missing for years. Turquoise, where are you?

I totally stock up when my colors are around. I actually suffer through the "cinnamon" and "brick" times, waiting for my beloved scarlet and tomato red to come back... but it always does. My pinks are more rare, from Pepto to fuchsia, but I picked up a few things last year as it became obvious that everyone was feeling pink. Cobalt is another one that I always wait for... and I'm currently waiting for teal, which I can just feel will be here any moment.

Lovely pieces - and it is tempting to just go mad!! I struggled through the endless winters here of black grey and white. We have good amounts of brown this year - and green - but not much red or teal - both I am looking out for.

Those are awesome Jenn, perfect colour for you. I like a lot of colours as you may know so probably several are available at most times. Yellow is one that is not often available in the fresh spring-like bright yellow I prefer so I do snap up items with that yellow in if I see them. It took from 1984 to 2013 before I found a second pair of shoes in that yellow! They tend more towards mustard which is not my preference.
I agree with Bijou and Sal that more turquoise or teal would be a nice change. My daughter Rebecca is thinking of teal for her bridesmaids ao dai so I hope her MIL can find some teal fabric in Vietnam!
