I've been thinking, through the recent challenge, about what clothes/outfits are really "me". Last night I was going through all the ways that my black boots are definitely in there, even though I don't wear much black. No real "lurking quirk", but I like the nicely defined ankle by a workboot maker. The buckle on the side is just enough decoration, but not distracting or silly. There are gores so they fit my calf at various diameters discretely, without announcing how big my leg is. And I've had them so long they are just part of me. But then this morning... see photo 3.
The sole is sewn on, not glued, so I hope they can be repaired. Any info or advice would be appreciated.
