When it rains, it pours. Holiday sparkle options have arrived....

So, a week ago I was lamenting the lack of holiday sparkle in my wardrobe. (I had one burgundy sequin top to my name.) Today, two options arrived in the mail...and I like them both!

#1-4 - Otte cropped gold boucle jacket. It's actually as cute in person as it was online. The collar is a bit crumpled from shipping, but I'm thinking if I have it pressed so it stands away from my neck a bit (as in #3-4) it might look better.

#5-9 - Sabine sequin cami top (from Piperlime). I like this, too! #5-6 show it with my black Theory jacket. #7 just on its own (which I probably wouldn't wear), #8-9 with a long black cardigan.

I'm thinking both of these are good options for casual-ish holiday parties of all types. The Sabine cami might be a little long...but I could have my seamstress take up the shoulders a bit.

What do you think? Are they working? I'm open to styling ideas, too (......maybe some slipper flats instead of the booties).

Thanks, Angie! It's great to have your seal of approval on these looks. And you're right, these pieces could be used for non-holiday events. I'm still trying to train myself to see sparkle as acceptable for daytime wear....and also not to "save" items but to go ahead and wear the heck out of them.

I'm so so glad these pieces are 10's.

I like the long cami - I think it has a flapper-esque character at this length.

Both look great, but that cropped jacket is to die for! I don't usually do sparkle, but I would totally wear that jacket! Gorg!

Fern, you might be right about the length of the cami. It may look better longer. It has a nice weight to it because of all the beading so it lies perfectly, and I do love the flapper/deco vibe of it.

Swooning! These are both fantastic! Totally love them on you. I vote for everyday wear too, at least the jacket. You are more than fabulous enough to wear these all the time, and what a great way to brighten winter drab.

Love both pieces. The jacket would look lovely over a sheath dress!

The cami is really beautiful. I think raising the shoulder seam might pull up the neckline a little, which would be helpful when you move and bend over. The neckline looks great standing, but I learned the hard way that the weight of sequins in the top create a tendency to gape! Of course, your jacket helps hold it in place.

Wear both and know you look amazing!

I'm a complete sucker for sparkle and shine. I followed the link to the jacket when you posted it earlier. I liked it before and I have to say it looks much better on you than just hanging in space. It looks so modern the way you've styled it. I love both looks especially the black top and jacket. I just hope you have plenty of events to attend so you can wear both looks often

Suz, this jacket is pricey but I'm letting myself go for it! I'm wearing a Small, but I think you might need an XS since you are so petite....and keep in mind that I have somewhat broad shoulders. I think it's sold out on Otte, but you might be able to sleuth around and find one. I owe you and your friend's lovely borrowed jacket a huge debt for inspiring this look.

Janet, I'm wearing a Small in the cami and I'm usually a 6 in blouses/tops. It's plenty big enough. You might want to try a Small. And it might be a good length for you since you're taller than me. Let me know if you buy it!

Oh I love these, the sequined top especially. I have an cream silk blouse that would look great layered under it. Maybe you have something similar that would give you more/warmer options?

wow that first outfit is so flattering from head to toe that's a 10 for sure about the second one looks great but the top is a bit loose
