This is a question for you seasoned shoppers.

I have a small budget, but starting in June I'll have need for a few new smart casual/slightly dressy outfits. I'm seeing a lot of things I like now but I'm wondering...

Should I wait until the time is closer to make sure I'm still in love with the pieces or snap them up now? Do I wait to see if anything better will come along? When am I likely to find the best variety for the season?

Namely, I'm looking for a couple of cute lightweight skirts and maybe a dress or two, possibly a light jacket. Modcloth has a lot of stuff that really appeals to me at the moment, but then they often do. There are also a couple of tops at Anthropologie that I like. And some dark wash Gap Long and Leans.

I don't wait to wait too long and have fewer options but at the same time I'm reluctant to purchase things that I won't wear NOW.
