I made it to the airport. However to get here last night I had to drag my suitcase through the snow and ice, take a bus to a hotel. Wake up this morning at 4:20 am, to get shuttle at 5am. Now at airport & they're canceling flights, but not mine, yet.

The shuttle wouldn't pick up this morning from my house. They've canceled a bunch of flights but not mine, yet.

Flight is delayed. Looks like I'll be here a while though. Earliest they'll get a runway clear is 10am, my flight was supposed to be at 9. & they still have de-ice the plane.

I am flying to Idaho next week and I hope the weather has cleared up a little bit by then (I'm a nervous flyer even on a perfect day).

I'm going to Puerto Vallarta. Still have no idea when I'm leaving. My Dad said on the news they're giving priority to flights to Mexico & Hawaii. Right now it's
an icing & de-icer issue due to freezing rain.

Well, at least your destination is on the priority list! Hang tight - it's better to have a safe flight than an on-time one, anyway! Hopefully your airport has some good restos/bars/shops!

Are you flying out of Seattle, Anna? My bf flew out last night on Alaska from Seattle. Much delayed, de-icing, but they did take off!

Yes, I'm trying to fly out of Seattle. Been here over 6 Hours & they've de-iced the plane twice. Sandal boots are packed.
